Creating a profile on RugbyTalent.com

The first step to creating a profile on RugbyTalent.com is to Sign Up.  You do this simply by clicking on the 'Sign Up Here' button located on the left hand side of the Home Page.

Once you have completed the initial Sign Up process you will arrive at a Profile page.  It is important to complete as much information on this page as possible the following images provide example and tips on what information Clubs and Rugby Organisations are looking for...

Profile Summary

Try to complete as much of your profile summary as you can.  You can link your RugbyTalent.com profile to your personal webpage. A good webiste to keep your personal Rugby stats and results is www.myrugbystats.com you can link your My Rugby Stats profile by pasting your personal url into the website area of RugbyTalent.com

If you have any good video footage of you playing (maybe on youtube?) you can also link the appropriate video link into your RugbyTalent.com profile.

Main Profile

The rest of your main profile should be completed as much as possible as shown in the example below...

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU WANT YOUR PROFILE TO MATCH TO JOBS WITHIN RUGBYTALENT.COM

On the right hand side of your profile you will find two database boxes.  This is the primary matching system for RugbyTalent.com.  You need to honestly edit your experience and skills using the radio button options provided within this database area.

The Portfolio area can contain Rugby photos (Club, Representative teams which feature you etc) you may also have copies of certificates you have received, photos of trophys or awards you have gained etc...

The good news - RugbyTalent.com is designed to let you come back and complete your profile at any time.  You are able to login and update these details as you achieve more awards or more experience.

It is very important however that you build enough into your profile that it is attractive to our Rugby Club and/or Rugby Organisation members as they have the ability to access our system and search and contact you directly.

Next Steps

Once you have built your profile go to your personal homepage (select 'Home' from the left hand main menu within your profile.  Your home page displays jobs your profile matches to on the left hand side, along with any new jobs entered into the system. You will also see recruitment videos and promotions for Rugby Clubs, products and opportunities on this page.
